Ceremono is a listing and search platform — not a middleman. We never take a commission, we never touch the money between you and your clients. You pay one flat listing fee, and that’s it.

All prices are in USD and include tax. You buy listing time up front, as much as you want at a time — there is no subscription, we don’t store your card, and nothing is ever charged automatically. When your time runs out your listing simply comes down until you add more. Founding vendors keep their discount for good. If listing prices change later, your price changes by the same percentage — you never lose the founding advantage.
The first 10 vendors list free through December 31, 2026; from January 1, 2027 they continue on founding-vendor pricing, not standard. They can also pay ahead for that time whenever they like — bought time is added on top of the free period, never instead of it.
Applications are reviewed by hand. We’ll email you your place in line.
Your business. Your clients. Your money.
Most marketplaces sit between you and the people who hire you — they take a cut, they hold the money, and after a while the client belongs to them, not to you. We built Ceremono the other way round.

Questions vendors ask
Short answers, no small print. Anything missing? Ask us and we'll add it here.
The business model
Do you really take no commission?›
Really. We don’t process your payments, we don’t hold deposits, and we don’t take a percentage of anything you earn. Someone finds you here, you talk to them directly, and whatever you agree is entirely between you. Our only revenue from vendors is the listing subscription on this page.
Why charge a listing fee instead of commission?›
Because commission punishes you for being good at your job. A 10% cut on a $12,000 wedding is $1,200 for the same listing that a $600 birthday party gets — for identical work on our side. A flat fee is honest: you know the cost up front, it doesn’t grow with your success, and we have no reason to insert ourselves into your deals.
Can clients book and pay through Ceremono?›
No, and that’s deliberate. There’s no checkout, no escrow and no invoicing on our side. You take payment however you already do — cash, bank transfer, card, Stripe link, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Wise, Apple Pay, an invoice, whatever suits you.
Who owns the client relationship?›
You do, from the very first message. Enquiries arrive with the person’s name and contact details, and nothing stops you moving the conversation to email, phone or WhatsApp straight away. We don’t hide contact details behind a paywall and we don’t market your clients back to you.
Running your listing
How do people contact me?›
Two ways: the enquiry form on your profile, which lands in your dashboard and your inbox, and a WhatsApp button with the message already written out — if you’ve added a number. You can also show your phone, email and website.
Can I hide my phone number or email?›
Yes. Every contact field is optional. Some vendors show everything, some only take enquiries through the form. Your call.
Can I edit my profile whenever I like?›
Yes — photos, services, pricing, availability notes, all of it, and changes are live immediately. You don’t need our approval to change your own business details.
Can I pause my listing?›
Yes. There’s an on/off switch in your dashboard. Switch it off and you disappear from the directory while keeping everything you’ve built — switch it back on when you want work again. Perfect for a full season or a quiet winter.
Is this a subscription? Will you keep charging my card?›
No, and no. You buy listing time — a day, a month, a year, however much you want — and that’s the end of it. We don’t store your card details, so we couldn’t charge you again even if we wanted to. Your card goes straight to Stripe, our payment processor, and we never see the number.
What happens when my time runs out?›
Your listing stops showing in the directory. That’s all. Nothing is deleted — your photos, reviews and profile stay exactly as you left them, and buying more time puts you back up instantly. No cancellation to make, no fee, no exit interview.
What you can offer
Can I list more than one service?›
Yes. Plenty of vendors are a DJ and an MC, or a photographer and a videographer. You list the services you actually offer rather than being forced into one box.
Do you only do weddings?›
No — and this matters for your bookings. Ceremono covers birthdays, corporate events, conferences, baby showers, graduations, anniversaries, festivals and more. You choose which event types you take, so you don’t get enquiries you don’t want.
Can I set my own service areas?›
Yes. Pick the regions you’ll travel to, and say whether you go further for the right job. Hosts filter by area, so being honest here means better-matched enquiries.
Who sets my prices?›
You do. Your starting price and package prices are yours to set and change. We never approve, cap or discount them — and we never show a "Ceremono price" that differs from yours.
Trust & visibility
How do reviews work?›
Reviews come from people you’ve actually worked with through Ceremono. You can reply publicly to any review, and you can flag one for us to look at if it breaks our guidelines — but you can’t delete reviews, and neither can we on request. That’s exactly what makes them worth reading.
Do I need a registered business?›
Not necessarily, but you do need to be a real, contactable operation with work to show. We check every application by hand. If you’re a sole trader just starting out, apply — a thin portfolio is fine, a fake one isn’t.
How do I become verified?›
Verification is ours to give, not something you can buy. We confirm you’re a real business with genuine work and consistent contact details. Complete profiles with real photos get verified quickly.
How do I show up higher in search?›
There is no paid placement — you cannot buy your way to the top, and no competitor can outbid you. Ranking comes from a complete profile, real photos, accurate categories and features, responsiveness and reviews. The best thing you can do is fill your profile in properly and reply quickly.
Will you advertise to my clients?›
We won’t market competing vendors inside your enquiries, and we don’t sell your client list. Ceremono makes money from listings and its own planning tools, not from reselling your customers.
Pricing & the queue
How does the queue work?›
Your number is set the day you apply. If an application ahead of yours is turned down, you move up — and if that moves you into a better tier, you keep the better price. The number locks in the moment you’re approved and never goes up after that.
What happens after December 31, 2026?›
The first 10 vendors move onto founding pricing — $19.99/month instead of the standard $46.99. We’ll email you well before anything is charged, and nothing is taken automatically without that warning.
What if prices go up later?›
Founding vendors keep their discount. If standard pricing changes, yours moves by the same percentage — you never quietly drift onto full price for staying loyal.
What exactly does the fee buy?›
A full profile with photos, services, pricing and FAQs; placement in category, location and feature search; enquiries delivered to your dashboard; profile view stats; and, for the first 100 vendors, a permanent Founding Vendor badge.
